Evenings at Majestic Oak were often my favorite. After dusk, we gathered around a fire pit (if allowed) or in group seating near the clubhouse. We played card games, told stories, sang (some off-key), and roasted marshmallows.
One night, the grandparents shared tales of their childhood vacations, and my kids listened, wide-eyed. Another night, we organized a “campers’ talent show”— the kids, adults, and seniors all performed something silly: singing, jokes, impersonations.
The resort’s clubhouse and outdoor spaces are ideal for mingling. It’s how strangers become friends. The bark park, the open lawns, the shaded seating areas all facilitate conversation and shared fun.
