One evening, after returning from a day exploring, I grabbed my camera and went for a walk alone under the resort’s canopy of ancient oak trees. The sun was low, golden rays filtering through branches. That’s when I captured my favorite photo from the trip: a silhouette of kids playing frisbee against the sky through oak limbs.

I met the grandparents walking slowly along the concrete roads (paved roads are part of the resort), so the pace was easy for them. Majestic Oaks Resort – We paused, murmured at the tranquility, and then returned together to dinner.

Later, we lounged outside in camp chairs, sharing snacks, watching fireflies, telling ghost stories, and listening to frogs croak in the distance.
