From the moment we pulled in, our beagle, Bingo, was in heaven. The Majestic Oak Bark Park (2,500 sq ft) is a special highlight — a gated, double-door entry, agility ramp, teeter-totter, benches, and shade abound.

One morning, I took Bingo there early. He raced, chased balls, made friends with other dogs, and collapsed happily afterward. I sat on the bench and chatted with another pet owner from out of state about how we plan pet-friendly meals and routines on vacation.

During meals, we always have a bowl of water and a little lean meat (chicken or turkey). At night, Bingo slept under the awning, curled at our feet. On beach days, we checked whether the beach allowed dogs (some areas nearby do).

Vacationing with a pet brings extra logistics, but at Majestic Oak, the pet amenities make it feel natural and inclusive.
